With regards to Delphy’s Dashboard…

hpneedsmorecoffee replied to simdesigns:If one points either tool (DDO/Dashboard) at their actual game files (the stuff in Program Files) and then “fixes” the errors then it’s going to corrupt the install. Don’t ever do that, and it shouldn’t be an issue.

Thank you hpneedsmorecoffee :)

That actually happened to be after I first used Delphy's Dashboard. I had to re-install all my sims games. It was very tedious and I was reluctant to get the tool again, but I did and nothing happened the second go around. I still am not sure what the heck happened.

Really? Very bizarre. Hopefully someone knows a fix for it without having to re-install as we all know the pain with that :(

I tried using the sims3dashboard and now my game won't start anymore. :c all I get is an error that says: 0X02957b48

I’m sorry to hear that but I have not had this error or problem before, I’m pretty sure it can’t be delphy’s dashboard that caused this problem, although who knows?! I cannot help you further, but I did a quick google search of ‘0X02957b48 ts3 error’ and maybe you could do the same to find a fix :)

I downloaded a few of the things here o: but my game slowed up and often stopped responding... has this happened to you, or? O:

Personally my game is quite fast and rarely crashes, I think because of the type of computer I have and also how I organised and manage my CC. I do try to only download what I see as good quality CC and not have 63 towels and 15 toasters clutter. Also whilst decorating a lot and finding CC that I wish to use, I always have a note pad handy to write down lists of CC in my game that I want to delete. Before I play my game again I find and remove this CC. Sometimes it can take a while to find the CC I want to delete, so I have an ongoing process of sorting and cleaning my CC. I would recommend that you do this too.

Or alternatively try playing with half your CC installed, so a limited amount and not your full array of CC) so when you get bored of it, you clean it all out and install the other half. Sometimes you may really want a certain piece of CC which you don’t have installed, so you make do with something else that you have. Just like in real life where you may not find or be able to afford a certain piece of furniture or a mirror so you find something else or buy something cheaper.

I’m not an expert tho, but I have learnt that playing TS3 requires a lot of organizing and using software that helps your game and also cleans up your computer.

i hope you don't mind me asking, but do you know where i can find the sofa thats from this post you reblogged? /post/77727044122/upstairs-hallway-with-bedrooms-behind-these

I don’t mind you asking at all, I love to help a fellow simmer out with a find, but personally I don’t know off the top of my head but it does look familiar.

Sorry I don’t have the time to look for it right now, but I’m sure if you ask Plumbob Dollhouse (who designed the room) they would be happy to help you out :)

Edit: Found. (Very quickly!) Thank you so much iliketodissectsims :)

I hope you don’t mind me publishing this. I don’t know the answer to your question I am afraid, but I am hoping that someone else reading this can help you :)

You can use Sims3Pack Multi Installer. It will turn all the files in a sims3pack to separate package files. They will have really strange names though, so you will need a program to open the package files with, like s3pe, so you can see what’s in it.

It is possible to extract a sim3pack (with CC attached) into packages using Package Extractor: the biggest file should be the lot, the others are CC. You can use s3pe to check which package is what, and choose what to keep :) (if you don’t know how to check thumbnails in…

Hi! I have a question - how can you place small items like kitchen accesories on counters or shelves so close to one another? I did try the good old testingcheatsenabled true but the things still would be placed further apart and in all the pics on your blog, all the stuff is so close together. How can I do that??

image

Hello.. Most people use an OMSP (‘One More Slot Please’ the most popular is Granthes which I think most people use (and is the one I personally use). You can find a couple of others here.

What it is - it is like a little red and white checkered square (that disappears in live mode) that you can move up and down (to the height you want, of your counters, tables, shelves, beds, sofas etc) and you can place an item on it, such as kitchen accessories and you can place them wherever and how many of them you want.

It is very simple to use (although may take a couple of minutes to ‘get it’ and then it is an essential piece of CC that you will not be able to live without :)

All the instructions are on the download page of how to use it. But if you have any problems I am happy to help out :)

Hi! :-) First of all, forgive me for bothering you with my question. I'm looking for some full - heigth doors, floor to ceiling, but I can't find them anywhere! :-( Maybe you can help me? Many thanx! Federico

It is not a bother at all. I’m afraid I can not think of any off the top of my head. I am publishing this in case anyone else can help?

Having an inbox day!

<3 Thank you all! :) Some of these are really old and I hope you forgive me in the delay in responding. Sometimes I have very little time, but I never forget the wonderful things any of you message or reply to me with :)

Oh and lilasieben you are always welcome to send me a link of any houses you have made, but I cant promise to reblog it. Also you can tag it under ‘simspiration’ or ‘sim designs’ but it has to be in the first 5 tags you use, for me to see it under tracked tags

I really love running Sim Designs and it is an absolute pleasure of mine to give some exposure to ‘unknown simblrs’ or be well known simblrs too! I’m so glad you find inspiration here, but truly the work is all done by the many talented people whom I reblog.

I would like to take this time to thank all the lovely people who share their creations on tumblr !

Hi, I just thought I would ask you this. If you’re too busy or don’t feel like answering, it’s really ok I understand. Anyway, I’m trying to find the stuff that goes into making a closet. I mean the clothing that hangs up and or the racks and maybe some shoes that are lying on the ground (sorry if I’m not explaining it very well) I used to have some stuff like this but then I lost all my cc and have no idea where it came from. I googled ‘clothing, clutter, closets for sims 3’ but didn’t get much. Any help would be appreciated but don’t worry at all if you’re too busy. Thanks a lot :) — simtress

Hello

- Stackable Clothes

I hope this is a start for you :) You can also check my downloads tags, maybe you will find some other things such as under ‘Decor’

Hope you don’t mind but I am publishing this as it may be helpful to others too :)
